Family Dinner
- Saturday, June 13
- 02:00pm — 6:00pm MDT
- Elks Park
Family Dinner is your ultimate early-evening kickoff — part live-fire masterclass, part chef-hosted feast, and part “how did I get this lucky?” summer moment.
Nothing says summer like standing around a grill with something cold in your hand and incredible food in the air — except this version comes with a seasoned pro running the fire.
Join our culinary team as they walk you through the art of next-level grilling, covering beef, redfish on the half shell, oysters, and chicken — with real technique, real tips, and zero gatekeeping. This is the kind of cooking knowledge you’ll actually use, not just nod at politely. Then, you sit down together.
After the instructional session, guests gather for a relaxed, family-style meal featuring everything you’ve just learned about, paired with sides inspired by Bancroft’s signature elevated home-style approach. Think comfort food — but with serious chef energy. During the live-fire session, a featured mixologist will be crafting custom backyard-style sipping cocktails created by our James Beard nominated team — fresh, seasonal, and dangerously easy to love. Once dinner begins, you’ll transition into wines from family-owned California producers, perfectly matched to the smoky, savory flavors coming off the grill.
Why this one sells out every year:
• Live-fire cooking with a nationally recognized chef
• Interactive learning + full meal (best of both worlds)
• Cocktails and curated family-producer wines
• The most “summer night memory” event of the weekend
At its heart, this is about gathering around food, fire, and great drinks — elevated, but never stuffy. Just incredible flavors, great people, and that perfect golden-hour-into-dusk festival magic.
Pro move: Chef-led dinner experiences have extremely limited seats by design. If you love food, fire, and not cooking for yourself for one night — lock this in early.
